The terms that apply when you use vkcgoldikshu.com and the VKC Gold Ikshu app.

Please read these terms carefully before using this website or the VKC Gold Ikshu app.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using vkcgoldikshu.com or the VKC Gold Ikshu app (together, the "Website"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. Definitions

  • "We", "Us", "Our" means VKC Gold Ikshu.
  • "You", "User", "Customer" means the person using the Website.
  • "Products" means the jaggery products sold by VKC Gold Ikshu.
  • "Services" means our e-commerce, delivery and customer support services.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older to make purchases.
  • By ordering, you confirm that you can legally enter into a binding contract.
  • We currently sell and deliver only within India.

4. Product information

  • Product descriptions, images and prices may change without notice.
  • We take care to keep descriptions accurate but do not warrant that they are error-free.
  • As a natural product, colour may vary slightly from the images, and screens show colours differently.
  • The net weight is as declared on the packaging.
  • The MRP includes all applicable taxes.

5. Pricing and payment

Pricing: all prices are in Indian Rupees and the MRP includes GST and all applicable taxes. We may change prices without prior notice, and promotional prices are valid for a limited period.

Payment methods:

  • UPI, such as Google Pay, PhonePe and Paytm.
  • Credit and debit cards, such as Visa, Mastercard and RuPay.
  • Net banking and digital wallets.
  • Cash on Delivery, where available, with a ₹30 charge per order.

Payment security: payments are processed by secure payment gateways (Razorpay and Cashfree) over encrypted connections. We never see or store your card details.

6. Orders and confirmation

  1. Placing an order: add items to your cart and complete checkout.
  2. Confirmation: you receive an SMS, and an email if you gave one.
  3. Processing: orders are processed within 24–48 hours.
  4. Dispatch: you receive the tracking details.

We may cancel an order because a product is unavailable, a price was wrong, the transaction looks suspicious or fraudulent, or because of force majeure. Any amount you paid for a cancelled order is refunded in full.

7. Shipping and delivery

Shipping is free on orders of ₹499 or more; below that it costs ₹49 per order. Delivery usually takes 3–10 business days. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy for details.

8. Returns, refunds and cancellations

Damaged, defective, wrong or unopened products can be returned within 7 days of delivery, and orders can be cancelled before dispatch. See our Return & Refund Policy.

9. FSSAI compliance

In line with the Food Safety and Standards (Packaging and Labelling) Regulations, 2011:

  • All products are manufactured under FSSAI licence No. 11226322000183.
  • Packs carry accurate ingredient lists and nutritional information.
  • Allergen information is clearly marked.
  • Best-before dates and storage instructions are printed on every pack.

Product safety: 100% natural ingredients, with no artificial preservatives, colours or flavours, made in hygienic, FSSAI-licensed facilities with regular quality checks.

10. Your account

  • Give accurate information when you create your account.
  • You sign in with a one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number. Never share your OTP with anyone.
  • Tell us immediately about any unauthorised use of your account.

We may suspend or close accounts for breaking these Terms, fraudulent activity or abusive behaviour towards our staff.

11. Intellectual property

All content on the Website is owned by VKC Gold Ikshu, including the trademarks "VKC", "GOLD IKSHU", "CANEGOLD" and "ZUCKER", our product and packaging designs, and the Website's text, images, logos and graphics. You may not reproduce them without our written permission, use our trademarks commercially or reverse-engineer our products.

12. Prohibited activities

You may not break any law or regulation, impersonate any person or entity, transmit viruses or malicious code, interfere with how the Website works, use automated systems (bots) to access it, or scrape or harvest data without permission.

13. Disclaimers

  • Food, not medicine: our products are food. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Consult a doctor if you have a health condition such as diabetes.
  • Natural variation: as a natural product, colour, taste and texture can vary slightly between batches. This does not affect quality or safety.
  • Allergens: our products are made in a facility that also processes tree nuts and milk products.
  • Consumption: use as directed on the label, keep out of reach of children under 3 (choking hazard) and enjoy in moderation as part of a balanced diet.
  • Availability: we aim to keep the Website available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access; maintenance may make it briefly unavailable.
  • Third-party links: we are not responsible for the content or practices of websites we link to.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages; our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the product; and we are not responsible for delays or damage beyond our reasonable control.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold VKC Gold Ikshu harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights or your misuse of the products.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mandya, Karnataka.

We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 7 working days. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the National Consumer Helpline (1915) or the consumer commission; food-safety concerns may also be raised with FSSAI.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when they are posted here, and continuing to use the Website means you accept them, so please check this page from time to time.

19. Severability, waiver and entire agreement

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continue in full force. Not enforcing a right does not waive it. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and VKC Gold Ikshu about using the Website.

20. Compliance statement

Our products are made under FSSAI licence No. 11226322000183 in line with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and its Packaging and Labelling, and Food Product Standards and Food Additives Regulations, 2011. We are registered under GST (GSTIN 29BCOPN6632C1ZD), follow the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011, and adhere to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
