What is jaggery (ಬೆಲ್ಲ / Gur)?

Jaggery is a traditional, unrefined sweetener made by boiling down fresh sugarcane juice. Unlike white sugar, it is not refined, so it keeps some of the minerals naturally present in the cane.

Is your jaggery organic?

Our jaggery is made from naturally grown sugarcane, without chemical fertilisers. It is not officially certified organic, so we do not label it organic, but our farming practices follow organic principles.

What is the difference between jaggery and brown sugar?

Jaggery is unrefined: the cane juice is simply boiled down and set. Brown sugar is refined white sugar with some molasses added back.

Can people with diabetes eat jaggery?

Jaggery is still a sugar and raises blood sugar much like white sugar does. If you have diabetes, please ask your doctor before including it in your diet.

What is the shelf life of your products?

12 months from the date of manufacture when stored properly. The best-before date is printed on every pack.

How should I store jaggery?

In an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Why does jaggery sometimes turn white?

White spots or a whitish layer are usually the sugars crystallising, which happens when jaggery goes through temperature changes. If you see fuzzy growth, dampness or an unusual smell, do not eat it, and contact us.

What is the difference between your product variants?

• Children Bites: pure jaggery candy in bite-sized pieces.
• Turmeric Jaggery: jaggery with turmeric.
• Cardamom Jaggery: jaggery with aromatic cardamom.
• Ginger Jaggery: jaggery with dry ginger.
• Ikshu Laddoo: round jaggery balls, a festive treat.

Are your products suitable for vegans?

Yes. All our products are 100% plant-based.

Orders and payment

How do I place an order?

1. Browse our products on the website or the app.
2. Add items to your cart.
3. Go to checkout and enter your delivery details.
4. Choose a payment method and place the order.

What payment methods do you accept?

UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and digital wallets, and Cash on Delivery where available (₹30 extra per order).

Is online payment safe?

Yes. Payments are processed by secure payment gateways (Razorpay and Cashfree) over encrypted connections, and we never see or store your card details.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, within 24 hours of placing it and before it is dispatched: cancel from My Orders or call +91 6363397571. After dispatch, you can cancel by refusing the delivery.

Do you provide invoices?

Yes. A tax invoice comes with every order, and you can download it any time from My Orders.

Shipping and delivery

Where do you deliver?

Across India, to all states and union territories. International shipping is coming soon.

What are the shipping charges?

Free shipping on orders of ₹499 or more; below that, ₹49 per order. Cash on Delivery orders have a ₹30 charge.

How long does delivery take?

• Mandya and Mysuru: 1–2 days.
• Metro cities: 3–5 days.
• Other cities: 5–7 days.
• Rural areas: 7–10 days.

Can I track my order?

Yes. You receive tracking details by SMS, and email if you gave one, once your order is dispatched. You can also track it on Track Order.

What if my product arrives damaged?

Do not accept the parcel if the outer packaging is damaged. If you have already accepted it, take photos and contact us straight away on +91 6363397571; we will replace it at no cost.

Returns and refunds

What is your return policy?

Damaged, defective or wrong products, and unopened products in their original packaging, can be returned within 7 days of delivery. See our Return & Refund Policy.

How do I start a return?

Email vkc4569@gmail.com or call +91 6363397571 with your order details and photos. We will arrange a free pickup.

When will I get my refund?

Within 5–7 business days after the quality check, credited to your original payment method.

Can I exchange a product?

We do not offer exchanges at the moment. You can return the product and place a new order.

Food and nutrition

Is jaggery healthier than sugar?

Jaggery is less refined than white sugar and keeps some of the minerals naturally present in sugarcane, which is why many families prefer it. It is still a sugar, so enjoy it in moderation as part of a balanced diet. Our products are food, not medicine, and we do not make health claims. Nutrition details, where available, are on each product page.

Can children eat jaggery?

Yes, in moderation, like any sweet, and it is a traditional alternative to sweets made with refined sugar. Keep pieces small for young children, and ask your paediatrician if you have questions about your child's diet.

Is jaggery good for weight loss?

Jaggery has about as many calories as sugar, so it should be enjoyed in moderation as part of a balanced diet.

Can pregnant women eat jaggery?

Please ask your doctor about what is right for you during pregnancy.

Does jaggery cause tooth decay?

Like any sugar, too much jaggery can contribute to tooth decay. Enjoy it in moderation and keep up good oral hygiene.

Do you have a physical store?

Our manufacturing facility is in Ballenahalli, Mandya. We currently sell mainly online; retail stores are coming soon.
